Mrs. Christina Nekho, Advisor
Yearbook club is a great club for students who would like the ability to show our schools most memorable moments. The students that participate in yearbook club are highly dedicated to their task. They receive photography training from a professional photographer to ensure that they are capturing amazing shots.
Yearbook club consists of a lot of work, these students are trained on how to use the Jostens yearbook program. They must learn editing, proofing, and other necessary functions. The students have a deadline that they must meet in order for the yearbook to be completed in time. The work and diligence these students put forth is amazing!

Builders Club
Mrs. Stacy Flanagan, Advisor
Builders Club is a group for kids who are interested in helping others. We work together to plan projects to help our school, community and world. Some of the club’s traditional projects include: canned food drive, making Valentines/Christmas cards for senior citizens, filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, making welcome baskets for new students, participating in the Payson Rodeo Parade, reading to preschoolers and trash pick-up. While working through these projects, club members learn essential leadership skills that will help them throughout their lives.

Art Club,
Mrs. Amy Abney, Advisor
Pine Strawberry School is excited to offer an afterschool art club for Middle School Students .

While regular art class focuses on teaching skills and exploring different art mediums, Art Club allows students to unwind from the day and create the art they love. Students are encouraged to bring ideas to class where they can get the help they need to create their masterpiece.

Drama Club
Ms. Christina Nekho, Advisor
Drama Club is a wonderful after school club for elemenatry school students. There are so many important aspects of drama that will positively affect a students life. Self-Confidence is imperative in a child's life. Many students who join drama club are very shy and lack self-confidence. We work on exercises that help students to build up their confidence, we teach them to feel comfortable in their own skin, and how to address speaking in front of large crowds.
Communication skills, creativity, team work, critical thinking skills, discipline, and dedication are key characteristics that students work on when they join drama club. Drama club allows them to use their emotions and escape reality and "be someone else" for a short period. It allows them to emphathize with characters and show compassion when dealing with problems in the real world. Drama club is meant to be fun, many exploratory activities are done with dtudents using their imagination and creativity. We focus on improv, short scripts, and many fun activities to make students laugh ad feel good about themselves.
We will also work on performing a pla for the school (1-2 a year). We will teach the studnets what it is like to work in the theatre industry. We teach them the importance of stage crew positions, props, and scenery. We delegate tasks/jobs to students (all jobs within the drawma club are equally important). The emphasis on team work is imperative when working to put on a play, and the students will learn how to work together in order to make a successful program.
If students want a chance to lt go, and have fun, drama club is the perfect fit for them!
